Ever since she sent me off to my first day of kindergarten, thirteen years ago, she knew this day would come. But she let me go, silently aching inside because she knew her baby was growing up.
She cheered me on, fought for me, fought with me, and always prayed I'd get here.
I write this post with tears in my eyes, because I know that I wouldn't be here today if it weren't for her. Every day, every moment, every frustrating assignment has been worth it, because I know I've made her proud.
So I'll go, off to my first day of college, fighting for me, and fighting for her. Fighting with all the courage, faith and hope she had for me when I first started kindergarten.
It's been a rough road, but I always knew she'd get me here. And she has.
I hope I'm making you proud, mama. I love you.

We are so proud of you honey. We were blessed with the two best daughters in the world. Keep reaching for your dreams! "Oh, the places you'll go!"
