 Recently, I have discovered Grey's Anatomy on Netflix. May I just say it's the best addiction I have ever formed. :)

I have found a lot of quotes that I love, and a lot of quotes that apply to my life, and my feelings about mom.

What’s worse, new wounds which are so horribly painful or old wounds that should’ve healed years ago and never did? Maybe our old wounds teach us something. They remind us where we’ve been and what we’ve overcome. They teach us lessons about what to avoid in the future. That’s what we like to think. But that’s not the way it is, is it? Not only is it a good show (my favorite show!) there are a lot of wise words.

 

It’s one of those things people say. ‘You can’t move on until you let go of the past.’ Letting go is the easy part, it’s the moving on that’s painful. So sometimes we fight it, trying to keep things the same. Things can’t stay the same though. At some point you just have to let it go. Move on. Because no matter how painful it is, it’s the only way we grow.
